We need to talk about the Lamborghini Urus

After years of speculation the Urus, Lamborghini's 650 hp 'Super SUV', has finally been unveiled.  It'll cost £131,000, and in years from now its Spring 2018 release date will be widely recognised as the moment the car world that we knew and loved went to shit.

Sure, there's a minute chance that people will reject it in favour of buying a proper fucking Lamborghini, but what seems far more likely is that it'll go on to become the biggest selling car they've ever made.  And you know full well the likes of Ferrari and Aston Martin will be along for a piece of the action at the first sniff of its success.

Do we really want to see supercar manufacturers distracted from the important work of producing supercars?  Why can't they just leave all this mundane practicality to the peasants?  How long before everything is an SUV?

That's not to say the Urus doesn't look half-decent, mind...

...but there's no way you're choosing it over one of these.
