This woman has 50 orgasms a day!!!
24-year-old Amanda Gryce, suffers from a rare condition known as Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, which sees her having up to 50 orgasms a day. It may sound like fun, but Amanda admits that her condition has almost ruined her life.
Amanda explains that her uncontrolled orgasms can be triggered by anything from riding in a car to a loud bass. She says:
It can happen anywhere and sometimes I'll have five back to back. It's not pleasurable - it has become like torture.
I've been living with it for years. It happens when I'm with my friends or out in public and it's very embarrassing.
I just have to put on a smile and pretend that nothing's wrong.
Since last year I've been on a quest to find out more about this condition.It's been one disappointment after another thanks to the reluctance of some doctors to see this as a valid condition.
After countless unsuccessful appointments with doctors and specialists, Amanda may finally have a solution with the the help of pelvic pain expert Dr Robert Echenberg.
After seeing Dr Echenberg I found there are things which can reduce the intensity of the orgasms - even though they are still constant. I take medication to numb the areas and do exercise to try to take me mind of it. Taking control over the disorder rather than it controlling me is a dream come true.
Although Amanda is now getting her orgasms under control, she’s been asked to become celibate by doctors which was a slight blow to her boyfriend Stuart Triplett. The couple met seven months ago on a dating site and despite previously having had sex, she’s now been advised to completely abstain from sex.
It was difficult at first to explain my disorder to Stuart but he's so supportive, he completely understands and he is just my rock.
