New study reveals the connection between gaming and premature ejaculation
According to research recently published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine (yeah, I didn't know that was a thing either), guys who play video games for a minimum of one hour a day are less likely to blow their load early. So they can actually last way longer in bed than a guy who doean't play games at all. Who'd have thought? There's me thinking that gamers were just nerdy neckbeards who spaff their pants in 2 minutes of even meeting a girl. I stand corrected.
Having said that, it's not all gravy as the study also revealed that gamers have a lower sex drive. What a bloody waste of all that stamina. The researchers said:
It can be assumed that ‘video game stress’ might lead to hyperprolactinemia, possibly resulting in loss of sex drive. With regards to premature ejaculation, this could be because video games provide a steady dose of dopamine into the system, which is the pleasure hormone involved in having orgasms. Therefore gamers have a decreased receptor response and so can go for longer in bed.
So there you have it. Next time your Mrs tells you you're gaming too much, tell her you're only doing it for her sexual gratification. It's a win win!
