Woman finds wet patch in her hallway, assumes it's a spunking ghost

If I found a mysterious wet patch in my hallway, I would probably just assume it's dog piss or spilt water. I certainly wouldn't think a ghost had been jizzing on my carpet. However, some loon from Mumsnet thinks that there couldn't be any other possible explanation.

Musnetter Chipshopninja jumped on the mummy forum to explain the strange goings on in her home:

Last night DP (darling partner) woke up around 1am because he heard our bedroom door open (it’s a squeaky bugger, need some WD40 but that’s by the by)He didn’t get up, expecting our nocturnal ds (darling son) to tap him on the shoulder announcing he had had a bad dream etc….but nothing! He then heard the bedroom door close.

When they didn't hear their son come into the room, the husband got up to go and check on him. All was well and he was sleeping soundly in his bed. But then:

Just outside our bedroom door DP stepped in a large wet patch (which, in a very un-DP fashion he later cleaned up) he checked on our DS, fast asleep all tucked in under his duvet. He then went downstairs to check on the dog, fast asleep in the living room. So slightly bemused he came back to bed.

When the husband explained all this to his wife the next morning, her only explanation was 'a spunking ghost’. Her husband told her it's probably the cat pissing on the floor, because all cats are cunts and that's the sort of anti social shit they do, but nope. She says it's most definitely a ghost. People were quick to comment with some suggesting it's her husband peeing on the floor. Another person suggesting sniffing the wet patch. All good suggestions there. My advice would be to stay the hell off Mumsnet and hire a Rug Doctor becuase that is definitely piss!
