26-year-old model loves her wrinkled skin

Sara Guerts isn't your average 26-year-old. She was born with a rare connective-tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome that makes her skin look like wrinkled leather and makes Sara look at least 50-years older.

Sara says she's comfortable in her own skin now but she didn't always feel that way:

It wasn't until age 22 or 23 that I started to look at myself and my body in a completely different way — just the uniqueness and the rarity and the way the lines form, and just the art that is made from the patterns that are there. It's amazing. It makes me so sad that I looked at it as this ugly thing at one point in time

To prove that she's proud of the skin she's in, Sara has taken up modeling, where she often poses in lingerie and swimwear. Good on her for finding the courage to show off her unconventional bod.

I've got to admit, I did think she was wearing a baggy bodysuit when I first saw her. Check out the video:
