Asamoah Gyan's in trouble for having 'unethical hair'
Since leaving Sunderland back in 2012 the Ghana international has been on something of a royal tour of football's new-money hotspots. He initially stopped off in Dubai with Al Ain, before signing with Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG in 2015. He's since returned to the UAE though, and is currently on loan at Al Ahli.
Reports suggest his weekly wage is somewhere around the £220,000 a week mark, which is pretty fucking ridiculous when you consider how good he isn't. Not bad work if you can get it... But is he happy?
Possibly not, actually. The striker is one of 46 players from the Arabian Gulf League to have received a warning letter about their 'unethical hair', and if he doesn't get it cut he's looking at a fine or a suspension.
