Sheffield FC: The oldest football club in the world (video)

They were formed in 1857 so a local cricket side would have something to do during the winter months.  In 1860 another club, Hallam FC formed nearby and this was the springboard the world's first ever competitive football match, played largely to the same set of rules we recognise today.

This film delves in to that rich history, and takes a look at the current set-up too.  Well worth a watch.
