Labor of Love is a new show where 15 dudes compete to impregnate a woman
There's a bizarre new show coming out where 15 men all compete to impregnate a woman with the tagline reading: ‘Love is optional, Labor is mandatory'. Yup, you read that correctly.
The show is called Labor of Love and follows 41-year-old divorcee Kristy Katzmann as she chooses a guy to knock her up. The show will be hosted by Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis, who clearly isn’t get much work this days if she’s had to resort to this.
Kristin Davis will put the guys through a series of tests to see if they are strong enough for the trials and tribulations of parenthood, which range from being hooked up to a labour simulator and having their sperm count checked. Check out the trailer:

In this dating reality show with a twist, a woman who is ready to start a family, but has yet to meet the potential father of her children, decides amongst aspiring fathers-to-be who go through challenges that put their parenting and partnership skills to the test.
Each week, the mother-to-be, with the help of host Kristin Davis as her sounding board, decides who advances to the next week and gets another chance to prove themselves worthy of starting a family with her. Otherwise, she may choose to continue on the path to motherhood on her own.
I mean I get it, it must be pretty awful to feel like you’ve missed the boat but it does feel kinda wrong to basically audition a bunch of dudes to find one who can successfully blow his beans up your muff. It’s a bit icky isn’t it. The show has received mixed reviews with some saying it’s an appealing idea:

Tbf, it does look right up my street. I know what I’ll be watching tonight. Labor of Love doesn’t have a UK release date yet but I’ve just found episode 1 on YouTube so check it out.
