A new Scream movie is in the works!
Let’s face it - Scream was probably one of the best horror movies of the 90s, and after three sequels and television series, people still can’t get enough.

After Scream’s director Wes Craven died, fans gave up hope of ever having another instalment but it looks like a new movie could be in the works. Apparently Spyglass Entertainment have secured the rights to Scream after re-launching themselves as a content company after buying Dimension Films after the whole Harvey Weinstein thing left them up shits creek.

Whilst it’s amazing to hear that another Scream film is on the way, the fact that Wes Craven is dead and the original scriptwriter isn’t on board means it will be absolutely nothing like the movies we know and love. I also doubt they’ll be be roping in Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette but then again, those guys are pretty old now. My guess is it'll be a reboot. Watch this space!
