Tourist confuses Vietnamese bidet for small shower!
People often rip on Brits abroad and for good reason - binge drinking, unadventurous food choices and poor poolside manner all add up to make for a pretty irritating tourist. And when Brits do dumb shit like this dude it just lets the side down. Hamish Carruthers was travelling around Vietnam when he had a slight gripe about the showers. He decided to seek some advice on a local Facebook page, but was left feeling like a bit of a pleb. Here is Hamish’s post:
Clearly, this wasn’t a special shower, but a hose commonly found in Southeast Asia to wash your butthole. Obviously the post went viral and people were quick to shower Hamish with jokes. Here are some of the comments:
