Joanna Lumley's next project is really not what you'd expect
Let's layer it up for dramatic effect.
It's a one-off special on ITV.
To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of a well known pop band.
She's a massive fan of them as well. That's why she's hosting it.
And pause. Have a little think about bands that have a) been going for 20 years and b) might be the sort of thing that Joanna Lumley would be in to.
Nope. Not them either. Haha, good one...
It's the Black Eyed Peas.

Oh. Hang on. Turns out there was an hour-long BBC documentary called Joanna Lumley Meets will.i.am which aired in 2014.
You all missed this too? It's not just me that's spinning right now out on account of not knowing what this fucking world is?
I mean, I was just about dealing with Joanna Lumley's admiration for will.i.am (LOL) when I thought it was some new information, but how can this have already come up, and then been completely forgotten about? It's the sort of knowledge that ought to be sticking, right?
Fucking internet, man.
A bit of the press release for the ITV thing...
will.i.am said: “I have my family, my Black Eyed Peas family and my Voice UK family. I’ve always felt at home in the UK and, as a group, we continue to feel Big Love from our fans over here. We are excited to be sharing the backstory of our journey to success with you all.”
Joanna Lumley added: "I'm both a friend to and a big fan of The Black Eyed Peas. It's very exciting to be part of this and I'm looking forward to it enormously."
And a couple more reactions.
