New 'Halloween' trailer shows Michael Myers without his mask
With the new Halloween movie on the cusp of release, a new trailer has just dropped that finally gives us a glimpse of what Michael Myers looks like under his creepy white mask.
According to Michael’s original psychiatrist, Doctor Loomis, the Halloween killer has a "blank, pale, emotionless face, and…the blackest eyes - the devil’s eyes." I know fans of the first movie will be like "but I've already seen his face" but this is a new film folks, so it's pretty exciting stuff. The original Mike Myers was played by Tony Moran back in 1978 and as far as I'm aware, he isn't set to return. Instead, this new movie sees actor Nick Castle take the lead. Castle played ‘masked Michael’ in John Carpenter’s Halloween 40 years ago and apparently has a scene with Jamie Lee Curtis in the new film.
Director David Gordon Green made the decision to bring Castle back as he wanted to show fans how Michael has changed over the last four decades. Take a look at the trailer:
This new movie will ignore all the other films and will be a direct sequel to the 1978 classic so fans of the original will be happy. Catch it in cinemas on October 19th.
