Tara Reid lets slip that 'American Pie 5' is on the cards
Anyone who grew up in the 90s will no doubt know and love the American Pie movies. Those films were iconic to that era, and the movie soundracks were incredible. In fact I can't hear Sum 41 or Blink 182 without thinking about those films.
The last movie in the franchise was American Pie: Reunion, and it tied up the friend's lives quite nicely I feel. But according to Tara Reid, there might still be one movie left in the old dog yet. Tara spilled the beans during the promo for her latest film, The Last Sharknado, and here's what she had to say:
I met the directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg recently at the Emmy party and I said, ‘Let’s do the fifth movie, the franchise needs another movie.’ They replied: ‘It will happen! We’re going to make another!’
It will be incredible to come back. American Pie is American Pie. The movies were a part of American culture, it’s a classic. It is known all over the world. I’m very excited. It’s going to be a great year for me, with Sharknado’s debut and the possibility of filming yet another American Pie in 2018.
Damn. That's pretty exciting stuff. Provided the fifth film like the original movies and not fucking Band Camp orThe Naked Mile. Those were just dogshit! Reports suggest that the fifth instalment will be set in Vegas, possibly revolving around Finch’s wedding. Watch this space!
