Guy Ritchie is making a new British gangster film!
Who doesn't love a Guy Ritchie film?! Snatch. Lock Stock. The dude has made some proper winners. His newer stuff is a bit questionable though, like The Man from U.N.C.L.E. What a load of pap! Stick to what you know, Guy!
Thankully, Guy is going back to his roots and has announced that he is bringing out a new Britich gangster film called Toff Guys. The The movie is described as a cross between Sexy Beast and Downton Abbey, which is a pretty bizarre combo. It apparently follows a 'very English' drug lord who attempts to flog his empire to a bunch of billionaires from Oklahoma. Insiders said it's "about old money, new money, and show me the money". Sounds pretty awesome to be fair.
As well as directing the film, Guy also wrote the script along with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson. I wonder is Jason Statham will be showing up in Toff Guys?! Watch this space!
