Jenna Fischer finally reveals what Pam said to Michael at the airport!
It's been five years since America's version of The Office ended and people are still wondering what Pam whipsered to Michael Scott as she waved him off at the airport. Well now the actress who plays Pam, Jenna Fischer has finally revealed what she said to boss Michael.
In Michael's farewell episode - titled 'Goodbye, Michael' - the Dunder Mifflin boss manages to say goodbye to everyone apart from Pam, who's out running errands and doesn't think he was leaving until the following day. But once Jim tells Pam that Michael's actually left for the airport to go and live with his fiance in Colorado, she runs off to meet him and they both share an incredible heartfelt moment. We see Pam say something to Michael, and then they give each one of those long tight 'goodbye' hugs.
Until now, nobody knew what was said because Michael had removed his microphone and handed it to the camera crew so he can go and start his new life. But after a fan asked Jenna to reveal what she said during a recent Instagram live video, Jenna finally let us all in on the secret. She said:
That was me talking to Steve. I told him all the ways I was going to miss him when he left our show. Those were real tears and a real goodbye. That was a really emotional scene.
I always feel emotional when I watch that episode but now I know those are real tears I'm going to be bawling my eyes out. Time for The Office box set marathon I think!
