Avengers: Infinity War threw huge red herring in it's trailer that left moviegoers shocked!
With the biggest superhero movie of all time now in cinemas, fans who were lucky enough to get tickets are still trying to come to terms with what happened.
Major spoilers ahead! So stop reading if you don't want to find out what happens in the film.
With a massive load of superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War, fans were left feeling miffed when few familiar faces failed to show up in the movie. People were also disappointed by the small amount of screen time for one hero.
Right from the get-go, major characters were killed off. we're talking just a few minutes of the film starting. You see Hulk battered to death, Loki being choked to death and Thor on the brink of death. All this in the first scene. It was enough to put fans on edge for the remainder of the three-hour-long film.
People who saw the movie said they were totally drained afterwards and had to go home for a nice cuppa and a rich tea biscuit. fans felt like the promo posters lead them up the garden path with regards to Hulk. He was plastered over every piece of promotional material and people assumed Hulk would step up in the battle in Wakanda against Thanos, when in actual fact we see fuck-all of Hulk after his first fight with Thanos in the first scene.
What we all need to do the next time we get hyped for a movie is to avoid the trailers like the plague. Trailers either give away too much or just throws us a red herring which is what Marvel did here. Those sneaky bastards!
