New 'Venom' trailer finally shows Tom Hardy morphing into Venom
It's been two long-ass months since we first got a peek at the upcoming Venom movie that showed Tom Hardy strolling about, riding his motorbike and chilling in a hospital getting a CT scan. But what we never got to see was Tom Hardy's character Eddie Brock becoming Venom, which was all we bloody wanted! Well your patience has finally paid off because finally we get to see what we've all been waiting for.
The latest trailer finally gives fans a glimpse at Eddie morphing into the scariest supervillain of all time - Venom. Eddie is able to morph into Venom after being infected by an alien parasite that needs a host to live. The first host for the venom symbiote is Spider-Man, but as we all saw in Spider-Man 3, Peter Parker gets it out of his system after finding out how dark it can be. It then moves onto journalist Eddie Brock who quickly gains supernatural powers. Check out the epic trailer:
Venom is not be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Black Panther, but will instead be part of Sony's Marvel Universe. The movie is in the same universe as the latest Spider-Man movie which starred Tom Holland, sparking rumours that there could be a cross-over down the line. Now that would be bloody amazing!
Venom is due to be released on 4th October 2018.
