The World Cup's gonna be ace. But until now the sense of excitement has been in spite of the specifically Russian bits about it. A month of football; good. Putin's mug, pastings from the local hoolies and nerve agents; bad.
Though if they're gonna be bringing mad shit like this to the party I might have to re-evaluate.
