Jim Carrey's comeback film 'Dark Crimes' looks pretty sinister
The first trailer for Jim Carrey’s comeback film has been released and it's pretty disturbing.
New movie Dark Crimes couldn't be further away from Carrey's previous films which include comedy classics such as Liar Liar and Dumb and Dumber.
Dark crimes is a detective thriller that sees Carrey playing a tormented police officer as he discovers the unsolved murder of a businessman who was involved in a sex crime. Check out the trailer:
Director Alexandros Avranas is the sinister mind behind the movie who is also known for his 2013 film Miss Violence. Sadly though, the films premier at the Warsaw Film Festival received a fair amount negative reviews from critics who labelled it unsatisfying and dull. Although I'm a person who doesn't tend to listen to reviews. I'll give anything a watch and judge for myself. I've seen many films that I've loved that were totally slammed by critics so FUCK YOU critics. Dark Crimes is due for release 19th April 2018.
