Jason Statham battles the worlds biggest shark in new trailer for 'The Meg'
Jason Statham has just announced his latest movie project The Meg, which involves tonnes of action and a giant prehistoric shark!
When a deep-sea submarine is attacked by a humongous 75-foot-long monster shark known as a Megalodon, the crew are trapped at the bottom of the sea with nobody to save them...except one man. I think we all know who. Enter Statham, who plays expert deep-sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor. What no one realises however, is that Joan has his own history with the monster, and this journey will see him confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped underwater.
The $150 million movie is based on the novel, Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror, and is directed by Jon Turteltaub. It also has a pretty awesome cast including, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao and loads more. Check out the trailer:
This is literally my idea of an awesome film - huge prehistoric sea creatures and human survival. Yes please! The Meg is due for release on August 10th 2018.
