Jennifer Lawrence plays a deadly spy in new 'Red Sparrow' trailer
Jennifer Lawrence teams up with Hunger Games director, Frances Lawrence to star in epic new spy movie Red Sparrow.
Jennifer plays Dominika Egorova, a former Russian ballerina forced into a Russian intelligence program in order to get her mother medical care. After being contracted by the government to lure an enemy of the state to a hotel to be murdered, Dominika is recruited into the Sparrow program, an initiative that transforms Russian citizens into spies. In exchange for her service to her country, Dominika’s mother is provided with the life-saving medical treatment that she needs, but Dominika finds herself sucked into a world that threatens to break her spirit. This movie looks right up my street, and I'm glad J-Law is going working with Frances Lawrence again. If this movie is even half as good as Hunger Games, we're in for a treat. Red Sparrow is due for release 2nd March 2018.
