Adult star August Ames dies aged 23
Porn legend August Ames has passed away at just 23 years old. The adult starlet who starred in almost 300 was found lifeless at her home in Camarillo, California on Tuesday morning.
The exact cause of death currently remains unknown but police have said there is no indication of foul play. Close friends of Ames have said she was suffering from long-term depression and fear she could have taken her own life.
Her husband, porn producer Kevin Moore, expressed his sadness and has asked for privacy during this time. He said:

Ames' death took place just days after being bullied online for saying she refused to work with guy who also appeared in gay porn. She was accused of being homophobic but she defended herself, saying she doesn't ever work with 'crossover stars', meaning someone who works in gay porn and straight porn as there are more health risks.
Fellow adult stars have been expressing their sadness on Twitter, with Abella Danger saying “She was the most kind-hearted person ever.” Nikki Benz also tweeted “Another beautiful soul taken too soon. RIP @AugustAmesxxx I’m still in disbelief.”
It's just really fucking sad that people are so quick to be offended and jump to labelling someone a homophobe for not wanted to fuck someone. It's just really tragic. RIP August Ames.
