Michael Owen made his debut as a jockey earlier today
Potentially really good news, this. If he gets a taste for it he might take it up full-time and pack in the football punditry.
The fact he appears pretty decent at it doesn't hurt our chances either, his horse Calder Prince came in second in the Prince's Countryside Trust charity race at Ascot this afternoon.
