The National Lottery made a huge error with their latest Twitter Campaign

The National Lottery made a slight whoopsie recently with their latest campaign that saw pictures of British athletes holding boards with their names on.

When the internet sees someone holding up a board with their name on, they see it as the perfect opportunity to fine tune their Photoshopping skills and replace the name with any message they want. It wasn't long before a whole host of offensive Photoshopped messages started being uploaded to the National Lottery's website and some were bloody hilarious. Take a look:

The National Lottery set up an automated system to load the names onto the cards, meaning it was unable to filter out the offensive entries but they managed to regain control eventually and issued an apolgy. Sadly though, the damage was already done and the photos had gone viral. Oops!
