One can only hope that Ronnie paid an eye-watering amount of money for the privilege, enough to at least offset expenses and loss of dignity.

United ended up winning 2-1 on penalties after the scores were tied at 1-1 over 90 minutes. The result teaches us nothing about either side's prospects for the forthcoming season as it was only a fucking friendly.
