Leatherface - Red Band trailer goes back to 'Texas Chainsaw's' roots

You torture-porn lovers are in for a right treat, as the upcoming prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre called Leatherface has just released the red band trailer. The trailer doesn't reveal too much of the storyline but here's the synopsis:

In Texas, years before the events of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in the early days of the infamous Sawyer family, the youngest child is sentenced to a mental hospital after a suspicious incident leaves the sheriffs' daughter dead. Ten years later, he kidnaps a young nurse and escapes with 3 other inmates. Pursued by authorities including the deranged sheriff out to avenge his daughter's death, the young Sawyer teen goes on a violent road trip from hell, molding him into the monster known now as Leatherface.

The movie stars Stephen Dorff as Texas Ranger Hal Hartman and goes down a more serious route as opposed to 2013's laughable Texas Chainsaw 3D. Check out the trailer:

Looks pretty decent. Leatherface is due for release on 21st September 2017.
