Standard Liege have just completed the signing of Mexican stopper Guillermo Ochoa from Malaga.
The move represents something of a coup for the Belgian side but don't be too quick to congratulate...
They've given him the number 8 (eight!!) shirt.

Samuel Eto'o wearing 5 at Everton and William Gallas representing Arsenal with a 10 on his back weren't ideal scenarios, but at least they were outfield players with outfield squad numbers. Ochoa and Liege have taken things to a whole new level here and basically ruined football.
They should be bloody ashamed of themselves.
