Artist takes LSD and draws self portraits as she's tripping
Some of the best songs, poems and pieces of art have come from those who were high as balls at the time of creating them. Whether it be alcohol, opium, cocaine or other drugs, everyone has their poison and plenty of people work well when they've got a little something pumping around their system.
Reddit user whatafinethrowaway came up with a brilliant way of delving into her artist friends mind by asking her to draw a series of self-portraits while under the influence of LSD. When her friend said yes, they spent almost 10 hours together: one of them drawing, while the other documenting the experience. It was certainly an interesting evening.

1 hour 45 minutes later. The colours are getting pretty vibrant and her hair is getting longer

3 hours 40 minutes in and the artist stops drawing eyes
Now shit really starts to get weird at 4 hours and 45 minutes in. The artist said that she usually draws the eyes at the end so that the eyes don't look at her while she finishes the drawing. It appears the artist didn't want the drawing looking at her at all.
Portrait number 7 was done 6 hours after taking LSD. The note on the drawing says that she lost the black pencil so had to used coloured ones.

The artist drew this 8 hours after taking LSD, while sitting in total darkness and listening to Pink Floyd.
8 hours 45 minutes in, the artists says "I tried to draw what was in my head but in the middle of it, things were hapening outside instead".
9 hours 30 minutes later the drugs are finally starting to wear off.
Well that was a pretty interesting journey. I've never been tempted to take LSD before but this certainly makes it look like a crazy ride.
