'Valarian and the City of a Thousand Planets' final trailer looks epic!
The summer movie season is officially here and one of the big summer blockbusters people are going crazy for is Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Directed by Luc Besson and Starring Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne, the movie crammed with insane visuals and some seriously expensive-looking CGI.
The Synopsis reads:
The movie will center on Valerian and Laureline, who are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has a romantic interest in Laureline, but his history with women, and her traditional values cause her to continuously refuse him. Under orders from their commander, the pair must take on a mission to the intergalactic city of Alpha, who's seventeen million inhabitants have come together over time, uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone in the city shares those same views, which leads to some unknown forces threatening the city and placing everyone in grave danger.
While I like Dane Dehaan, I think Cara is pretty weak as an actress so I doubt I'll be watching this one. I might give it a go when it's out on DVD but I certainly won't be paying Odeon prices to see this is the cinema. Check out the trailer and see what you think.
