The hyper-realistic sculptures of former 'Labyrinth' model maker, Ron Mueck
Some insanely realistic sculptures have just gone on display at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and people are losing their minds over it.
Artist Ron Mueck started out designing puppets for an Australian children's television show, before going on to create models and puppets for cult classic film Labyrinth where he also voiced Ludo.
After creating beautiful and mythical creatures for long, Mueck decided it was time to create something more real so he began working on his super realistic sculptures where he portrays humans at key stages in the life cycle, from birth through middle age, to death. It's pretty incredible.
I wouldn't call myself an art expert but his work is just incredible. It must be so surreal to be stood next to a 15ft naked man. Hopefully I will get to view his work in person some day.
